New 4G Hub 2 compatible with 2G/3G/4G(LTE)

Hub 2 compatible with 2G/3G/4G(LTE) is available!
The Hub 2 control unit with support for verification is now available in two versions. In addition to Hub 2 (2G), which provides communication over second-generation cellular networks, Ajax Systems is launching Hub 2 (4G) which supports 2G/3G/4G (LTE) networks.
The control units differ only in the cellular module, they are not intended to replace each other and will be sold in parallel. The new model is already available for pre-order from Ajax Systems partners.
The situation of 2G networks in the world
Serving 2G networks is becoming unprofitable for mobile operators, as new devices operate primarily on 3G and 4G networks. Germany, the Czech Republic, Norway and Switzerland are already facing the abandonment of 2G in 2021.
Hub 2 (2G) is suitable for regions where 2G networks are still actively used and provide a stable connection. For other countries, it is important to take precautions, which is why Ajax offers an alternative: the Hub 2 (4G).
What is the difference
The control units differ only in the version of the modem. The Hub 2 (4G) control panel works on 2G/3G/4G (LTE) networks, while the Hub 2 (2G) control panel only works on 2G networks. Other characteristics, such as the number of scenarios, group users and supported cameras, remain unchanged.
The versions of the control unit have identical enclosures. They can be distinguished by the markings on the packaging and the sticker.
