OS Malevich update for Hub Ajax

The OS Malevich 2.12 update allows users to Ajax sirens to alert in case of opening of doors when the security system is disarmed. This feature is very useful in a store or a private house. New settings make it more flexible to configure notifications about arming/disarming delays, including those sent when the system is in night mode so as not to disturb the sleep of loved ones.
In addition, the new firmware improves the fire alarm system, and will allow you to configure notifications about loss of communication with Ajax Cloud on any of the networks: cellular, Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Notifications in case of loss of communication with the control panel on one of the networks
Notifications about loss of connection with the Ajax Cloud server become more informative. Now, in the "Service" settings of a control panel, you can configure the sending of a notification in case of loss or deactivation of the connection of a specific communication network. You can delay sending this notification, up to 30 minutes. This feature not only improves security system communication management for users, but can also serve as alarm confirmation for the central monitoring station.
For example, according to Spanish law, monitoring centers must only respond to a confirmed alarm. This can be a sequential alarm generated by three different detectors or an alarm generated by one detector followed by a specific system event. For example, when a central monitoring station receives a notification concerning the loss of communication and after that an alarm from a detector, emitted via a backup channel, this will cause a patrol to be sent.
The effects will be the same, when both networks have been cut. These response algorithms are used by security companies around the world, as they significantly reduce the expense of sending unnecessary patrols.
The blue bell
Function Entrance chime allows you to use an Ajax siren with an opening detector, which would replace a chime in a store. It signals to store employees that a customer has walked through the door or, in a house, that someone has entered through the back door.
The siren sound is short and different from the alarm, and its volume can be adjusted in the app. The siren has 4 signals to choose from, which makes it possible to differentiate the chime of each door. Once the Entry Chime feature is enabled, a blue bell icon will appear in the Ajax app, indicating that the feature is enabled. You can temporarily disable this feature by tapping the icon.
The Entry Chime feature is available for sirens with firmware:
